Lewis County Seniors hit the ground running last week, establishing a new website, Facebook pages*, and contact emails. Winlock Senior Center kicked off the new collaborative effort with their ever-popular Baked Potato & Taco Salad Bar fundraiser last Friday.

Toledo Presbyterian Women of the Congregation made 2017 a noteworthy year, from Cheese Days cheese sandwich distro to anchoring the Veterans Day with their famous annual Bake Sale, a Spaghetti Feed in November, and Red Cross Blood Drive in December.*
Presbyterian Women of the Congregation meet 10 a.m. second Tuesdays at Toledo Presbyterian Church.

Looking Ahead - Field Trip: GeoGirls is a geology and technology field camp for girls (cis and trans gender) at Mount St. Helens. GeoGirls explore the volcanoes in their backyard, the hazards they pose to human population and the technology scientists use to monitor them.
Thanks to grants & donations, this 5-day/4-night opportunity in late July/early August 2018 is free to 34 select participants. Details & downloadable flyer for teachers here.

Reservations Required: Toledo Senior Center Nutrition Lunch Wednesday serves Chicken cordon Bleu with rice pilaf, asparagus, ambrosia salad & herbed dinner roll, Friday broccoli cheese soup and egg salad sandwich with carrot & celery sticks, plus angel food cake with strawberries.
