In other biz: 2017 State Budget - Joh Jones reported she contacted Rep. DeBoldt’s office regarding $50,000 promised (toward community improvement). Currently the Legislature is working to pass the 2017 capital budget; there will be no 2018 budget. No additional paperwork is needed (from Toledo), we are still in that budget.

How To Jury - Workshop for all Artists
Details: With artist, art teacher, and long time ARTrails member, Jeanne Hamilton.
If you've never submitted an application to a juried art show, and would like to, this workshop will help. If you're a new applicant to ARTrails, this workshop is essential.
The workshop will cover the jury process in detail. Good and poor application and photo examples will be shown. An overview of the ARTrails organization and what is expected of its members will also be discussed. There will be lots of time for questions.
No reservations required. No entry fee.
It is important to get ARTrails applications in on time as they will not be considered after the FEBRUARY 1ST DEADLINE

Looking Ahead: Toledo Website/Branding/Tourism Board Meeting
6:30 p.m. January 24 at Camp Singing Wind.
Details: This meeting is to discuss efforts to create a Toledo Washington website and tourism board. The effort began a year ago as a result of the Cool and Connected grant and the action plan items identified. Some work has been done already with regard to a basic plan for the branding and web site. Adding to the items for discussion will be ideas for creating a tourism board. As always anyone with any interest in helping make these ideas a reality, is welcome to attend.

We will be taking applications until January 11th. Must be 18, registered voter and live within the City limits of Toledo for one year prior to appointment. This will be an appointment for two years.
