Toledo School District says: Freezing rain is being reported in Kelso at this hour (6:30 p.m. Thursday). Any decision on schedule changes will be made by 5:30 a.m. (Friday) and posted here (on Facebook), electronic media and through our automated calling system.

Common Ground Garden Community is now Common Ground Toledo, completed with new link to their Facebook page. In true Toledo spirit, January’s score of 300 bulbs from DeGoede Farms will add color to Spring Planter revitalization efforts, But that’s just the beginning…

Michelle says: Great information about Preparedness!! I want to encourage everyone to get signed up to the new LEWIS COUNTY ALERT.

This system will alert of impending emergencies, evacuation notices and instructions, public safety and health issues (i.e. boil water) and emergency road closures, to name a few. Sign up on www.lewiscountywa.gov (direct link above) or call (360)740-1464.

As of last week only 2,000 residents were signed up to this system. It can call, email or text you at your home phone, business phone and cell phone. SIGN UP TODAY!!!

*Note: this is a new system, not the original Code RED alert system, so sign up for the new service now.

Camp Singing Wind Holds Seed Share & Community Prep Potluck Sunday: Let's get together to share some food, seeds, and ideas for community resilience and emergency preparedness...Feel free to invite anyone who might be interested!
