From Toledo School District: Toledo Rec volunteers put new roofs on the dugouts. Grateful for the dedication of our community volunteers.
Tammy Stanton is stepping up to fill her grandmother’s legacy in Toledo. Last week Tammy joined the Park Board, and fundraising for Borte’s vision of a water park feature in Kemp Olson Park is already underway. Esther’s original Walk in the Park: Blue Lagoon quilt pattern will live on in new colors as the raffle grand prize at this year’s event.
One source confided pennies were found in containers throughout Esther’s place, speculating they were the foundation of that dream.
