In response to the Toledo Column moving from print to online media, one reader relates “So true, many more are coming over from the dark side. Our 100-year-old great aunt got a computer for her BIG birthday and is now alive and well on Facebook.”

Principal Martin Huffman reports: Two Hands On The Wheel, a Toledo High student club, had a great Traffic Safety Week at THS March 7-11 culminating with a mock accident, funeral and trial. Thanks to local, county and state law enforcement, coroner's office, county prosecutor's office, Brown Funeral Home, Toledo Fire Dept, ambulance and some very big efforts from Two Hands students.

Last year nearly half of the school district’s graduating seniors were presented one or more scholarship awards by the Toledo Community Scholarship (TSC) Committee. March is Community Scholarship Month. Contributions of any amount welcomed. And for $500 you can create an annual scholarship with your name on it. Details here. Application deadline April 8 here.

March 23 Toledo New Life 16th Annual Easter EGGstravagana 6 p.m. All children toddlers thru grade 5 invited to enjoy an Easter puppet show, free hotdogs, hot cocoa and coffee and, of course, TONS of eggs!
