Last night’s City Council meeting coverage may be found at Lewis County Tribune, also on Facebook. Toledo City Council meets 6 p.m. first and third Mondays at Town Hall. Holidays will reschedule meetings for 6 p.m. Tuesdays. Public invited. Contact Toledo City Hall for special accommodations or cancellations at (360)864-4564.

*Post-meeting chat with LC Commissioner Stamper, Hizzoner Mayor Dobosh and City Clerk Michelle Whitten hinted at some potentially good news for Toledo in the pipeline. City Council Member Glenda Forga on next LC Senior Center Transition Team meeting: 1 p.m. April 5 in Toledo, location to be determined. Toledo Civil Service Commissioner John Morgan reported a promising candidate for Police Officer is undergoing screening now.

Our legislative delegation is hosting a telephone town hall on March 28. Sen. Braun is the Senate's lead on budgets and is largely responsible for the Republican plan to address school funding in the State.
