Toledo Market Day is the working title of last night’s first meeting of local folks held at Camp Singing Wind. Day, time and location possibilities were discussed, as were vendors and and themes. Those interested are invited to the next meeting, to be posted via Camp Singing Wind.

Batik Egg Painting Art Class Saturday 1 - 4 p.m.
Participants in this workshop will be introduced to the rich traditions and history of the art of Pysanky. Using the fascinating canvass of the egg shell (chicken, pre-blown and prepared), students will complete a simple star-burst design with the traditional batik method using kistka, beeswax, dyes and candle. All materials will be provided.
1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Morgan Arts Centre
Adults and children over 10 (kids under 13 must be accompanied by an adult)
Cost is $25.00 per student, instructor is Susan Blubaugh.

Seed Swap 2 - 4 p.m. at Toledo Community Library Saturday. Bring envelopes or sealing plastic bags, and your own seed to share as well.
Monday: Toledo Historical Society meet 4 p.m. fourth Mondays at the Community Library, where the History Room displays early pictures, papers and artifacts generously donated by area families. The Society also participates in numerous projects in the community, and funds scholarships.
