More Recycling this week from Lewis County Solid Waste Utility: Free Soil Testing Class Coming Up!
Attend a Lewis County Master Recycler Composter class to learn how to test your soil. By knowing your soil type, you can make it better with compost.
The class will be at 6 p.m. April 12 at the Salkum Library. You will bring your own soil and test it with kits provided in the class.
People interested in attending the free class need to pre-register (Monday), April 9, so they can receive instructions on how to prepare their soil sample for the class.
Pre-registration also helps organizers know how many soil test kits to bring to the class, which will be limited to 30 people. To pre-register, call (360)740-1216.
