Yesterday Lions Club volunteers met at South Lewis County Park before the monthly meeting, armed with rakes and weed eaters and similar yard tools to clean up in advance of Saturday’s Fishing Derby. Toledo Senior Center hosts their Second Saturday Breakfast 7:30-10 a.m. with full fare breakfast including endless hotcakes, or biscuits and gravy for early risers (until they run out). Still $5, and they do the dishes.
This Saturday is also the fourth and final one to score locally grown blueberry plants at Riverview Hardware and Feed. Although plants are available for purchase directly, all monies raised these four weekends go to the High School Basketball program. Along with several varieties of blueberries, they offer lingonberries, huckleberries, and strawberry plants.

For children 5 years old through 6th grade

Come develop your soccer skills whether a beginner or intermediate.
July 18-22 Kid’s Camp
For children who have completed 1st through 6th grade
Cost: $170.00 (Register early to reserve your spot)
Located on beautiful Clear Lake up in the Cascade Mountain.
