CGT invites you to “Come down and take a look at the new Honor Garden at the Kemp Olson Memorial Park, Toledo, WA."
The plant against the rock with the red blooms commonly known as Bleeding Heart.
The Patriot hosta is the small one with white & green on the leaves.
We also planted yellow Hyperion Day Lillies, yellow for remembrance. The tying of a yellow ribbon around trees was a way a community can show hope and remembrance for soldiers to come home safely and for soldiers we have fought for our freedom.
Hyperion actually means highly respected and regarded one. The yellow Hyperion Day lily will be hopefully blooming through the summer.
As the garden passes through the seasons it will fade in and out of bloom a foliage colors of reds, whites, and blues. We have woven the patriotic theme into every season.
