Especially: Joh and Wayne for painting the Eagle fence and pergola, Mike and Jake for repainting the “theater” mural, Brian for working on the planter boxes, Eric and Cindy for weed eating at the park, the ten LDS kids who painted fire hydrants and bollards, Signora for sprucing up the tennis courts, Steve for hauling away debris, Di and Emily for making us lunch, and anyone else who we might have forgotten to mention. THANK YOU for volunteering to make Toledo a better place to live.

Lewis County Tribune posts this advisory: Bridge replacement will detour Vader traffic
The Lacamas Creek Bridge on State Route 506 aka Toledo-Vader Rd will be replaced this summer, beginning in June, according to the Washington State Dept. of Transportation.
Traffic will use a detour route on South Military Road until the bridge is reopened this winter.
The timber bridge was built in 1951. The new bridge will be wider and made of concrete. For more info on this project, visit:

CTVNEWS Canada stated Friday: HELENA, Mont. - Smoke from large wildfires in Canada's Alberta province has drifted into five U.S. states and is causing haze and air quality issues.
The smoke has drifted into Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Washington state and Wyoming.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency rated Helena's air quality as unhealthy Friday morning while the air quality in the Montana cities of Great Falls and Lewistown was rated as unhealthy for sensitive groups such as people with asthma or heart disease.

These are gentle sessions aimed toward seniors/elders, donations accepted but not required as The Cowlitz Tribe is sponsoring the class for the community. What a great share!
