Toledo’s Mighty Fine Seniors hosted their monthly Second Saturday Breakfast, where our friend from Metropolis* was delighted to dine at Hizzoner’s table and chat about All Things Toledo - clean air, relaxed pace, quiet enough to hear bird songs, and one's own thoughts.
Long-time favorite annual Second Time Around Sale, held Friday & Saturday during Cheese Days, is another way you can support your local Senior Center while clearing out last year’s inevitable collection of gently used treasures and scoring new finds.**
Wednesday Toledo Senior Center holds their regular meeting 1 p.m. following lunch. Six months remain to show your support after the dishes are cleared away. Find out what remains to be done to keep the doors open for this vital community center, and pledge to lend a hand to folks who raised you, taught you, helped you, and continue to feed you.
