Exhale. Now enjoy yourself this weekend while your neighboring communities provide the entertainment (Napavine Funtime Festival on Facebook here, Castle Rock Fair here).

Or just hang out downtown, grab an espresso and a mani/pedi at Steamboat Plaza, watch the wildlife and anglers from the Boat Launch gazebo, order up this month’s PageTurners selection at the TRL kiosk in the Library, check out Toledo Made arts and crafts at Gallery 505, and dine locally without burning one drop of gas.

Reminder: This weekend Lewis County is the midpoint of the 2016 STP (Seattle-To-Portland) 200+ mile bicycle event. Up-to-the-minute route information here.

Last Tuesday’s Garden Day at Toledo Elementary School included parents and Common Ground Garden Community members.
School Garden Initiative coordinator Brooke Acosta writes: Hi all, the weeds have gotten away from us! We are having a “weeding party” noon - 3 p.m. Sunday, July 17. Hotdogs and drinks will be provided. Let me know if you will be there so I can plan the food accordingly. Thanks!
