This plea (in part) from Kristal Bisbee Long, who grew up in Toledo, on Facebook: I am reaching out to the area in seek of information re:I need help from anyone who grew up in or knows someone who grew up in Toledo Washington. I am conducting research regarding the number of individuals afflicted with multiple sclerosis from our area...four people* within 15 miles of each other, from a relatively small population...pretty much the same age...curious! If more are out there I'd like to know about it. If anyone would like to contact me regarding this please send me a private message.
I will keep all information confidential other than numbers.

Reminder from Toledo School District: The water supply project will begin construction at THS on Monday (July 17) and will continue through August. There will be no water service (including restroom facilities) at THS until late August while this project is completed. In addition, the gym floors at THS will be refinished during the next week. During this time, the gym will be closed to all use until the finish has cured. The quality of the finish depends on us staying out of the gym.

Sunday/Monday - Aundrea shares: So...Native Soil Farm needs help weeding strawberries <smile>. Come pick as many strawberries as you want in a row and help us weed the row too! This Sunday July 9th and Monday July 10th. We will also do this the following weekend.
If you can do more weeding than picking (more than a row) a small stipend can be offered.
Thank you!!! Call Aundrea 830-331-0410 to schedule a time.

From Norene Wedam, Springtime Library Seed Swap Coordinator: I would like to remind gardeners to plan to set a few plants aside and start saving their heirloom seed for next year’s seed swap. Maybe remind gardeners once a month, or so, until the frost?
Thank you so much.

A: No - We only have the one clothes closet & it is at the elementary school. The schools are closed, but I will be at the elementary next Monday (July 17) from 10 to 12 if you want to drop them off then. ~ Angela Bacon
