Brooke Acosta reports: DEER FENCING!
The posts went in today for the deer fencing. This is so exciting for the kid's garden. Can't wait to see the finished project. Come on down and check it out this summer. Take home some super fresh produce grown by your kids.
Di reports: Today we untied our tie-dyed shirts, learned about the color wheel and drawing three-dimensional shapes, and made forms of our hands with plaster gauze.
The kids are having a great time making art at Camp Picasso and are looking forward to learning about silk screening tomorrow.
MAPS Instructor Andrea Jones shares: I had so much fun yesterday running game club / jam band for kids and again today facilitating the young writers/ skit club! It always fascinates and inspires me to see what kids are capable of when they have tools and the freedom to play and create
Local author Jake Blake says: My publisher will be releasing a second paperback edition of my first novel "Sunburned: The Solar Flare that Silenced the Internet," first published in 2012. There are still a few remaining first edition copies, so let me know if you want me to sign yours!
