New Biz:
Esther Borte 2nd Annual Walk in the Park September 23:
Long-time resident and past Park Board Member Esther Borte created this fundraiser to help support park improvements. Sadly, Esther passed away last December. We would like to keep this event going in her honor. So far (08l22l2017) we have 8 sponsorships, including 3 gift certificates for prizes. We would like to have all sponsorships in by September 6 to ensure they are listed on the back of our T-shirts. We are still looking for donations of hotdogs, buns, ships, soft drinks and/or water, and condiments. We are also taking donations for raffle baskets. Registration forms are located at City Hall. Registration is $15 per person and includes a t-shirt and lunch! Please pre-register to ensure your T-shirt size. Any questions, please call City Hall (360)864-4564.
Event Coordinator Jill Davis asks "Promote the walk, please!"
Several Events are slated for the same day - Puppet Show at the Library, ARTrails Studio Tour.
