Toledo School District posted their thanks on Facebook: On behalf of the Toledo School District community, our thanks go out to TransAlta and the TransAlta Weatherization Board. This project will reduce the amount of the bonds that will be needed and will give us peace of mind and energy savings going into the future. Construction is planned for Summer, 2018.

Mayor Steve Dobosh is asking for volunteers of all ages to help with the End of Summer Clean Up Day. Meet at 8 a.m. at the City Park & please bring the usual outdoor accoutrements - boots & gloves, rakes, loppers, weedeaters, etc. Pizza for lunch will be served to all volunteers.
The End of Summer Clean Up Day is to freshen up City Park one week in advance of the 2nd Annual Esther Borte Walk in the Park, making for a safe & pleasant track for walkers of all abilities.
Also wanted: painters with gear to spruce up the maintenance building next to Toledo’s beautiful new water tower mural.

Toledo High School hosts Coffee House 7 - 9ish p.m. in the Commons. Performing arts showcase featuring rising local talent. Best night out in town.

Toledo School District posted: THS Cross Country will hold their only home meet on Tuesday, 9/19 at 4 p.m. Lewis and Clark State Park. You'll need a Discover Pass (or be able to afford the ticket). This is always a great event. THS has 27 athletes on the team, so there will be lots of kids to root for. Go Indians!
