Recap: Volunteers met 8 a.m. for the End of Summer Clean Up Saturday to freshen up City Park one week in advance of the 2nd Annual Esther Borte Walk in the Park, making for a safe & pleasant track for walkers of all abilities.
Mayor Dobosh rewarded workers with a variety of pizzas and breadsticks after hauling away seven heaping truckloads of trimmings from the inner walking track circle, and thanked everyone for their time and effort.

Workshops & Special Meetings: Occasionally the council will hold a workshop or special meeting. Dates and times will be announced prior to meetings.
Generally they are held the same night of council meetings.

Toledo High School hosts Coffee House 7 - 9ish p.m. in the Commons. Performing arts showcase featuring rising local talent. Best night out in town.
Q: Will there be dinner?

Tuesday - Toledo School District posted: THS Cross Country will hold their only home meet on Tuesday, 9/19 at 4 p.m. Lewis and Clark State Park. You'll need a Discover Pass (or be able to afford the ticket). This is always a great event. THS has 27 athletes on the team, so there will be lots of kids to root for. Go Indians!

Tuesday: Citizens for Great Toledo Schools invites everyone to join them at the next meeting 6:30 p.m. September 19, 2017 at Toledo Community Library, saying: Election is only a few weeks away and there's lots to do to get the word out to our community.

Also Tuesday: Lewis County Interlocal (Medic One) Meets 7 PM at Toledo Main Fire Station. Open to the public.

Did you know you can get First Aid/CPR training and EMT certification as a volunteer with Toledo Fire Department? Train while you learn.

Wednesday: Community Action Council of Lewis, Mason & Thurston Counties will be scheduling appointments for Energy Assistance beginning 9 a.m. September 20, 2017.

Seth Rowe is a 2017 THS alumnus. In late August, Seth was the victim of a hit and run while cycling on Park Rd. Seth's injuries will require lots of physical therapy. This is an opportunity for the community to support him and his family with the cost of medical care he needs.
