Brooke Acosta along with her team of volunteers are teaching children the importance of how a garden grows and why gardens are important to all of us. We are honored to be of help to such a great community program. Together we all can help Toledo grow!

At long last, Lewis County will join 39 others in Washington early 2018 in implementing NG911, or Text To 9-1-1, according to The Chronicle. Manager Dave Anderson was quoted: “This actually brings us into the 21st century.”

Seth Rowe is a 2017 THS alumnus. In late August, Seth was the victim of a hit and run while cycling on Park Rd. Seth's injuries will require lots of physical therapy. This is an opportunity for the community to support him and his family with the cost of medical care he needs.

Kaiser Permanent (formerly Group Health) in Olympia is having Back to School Immunization Clinic on Saturday, September 23, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Children do not have to be Thurston County residents to receive immunizations.
Who: Students entering pre-school through 18 years of age
What: School required immunizations are available at no cost
- Hepatitis B
- Hib (heamophilus influenza)
- IPV (inactivated poliovirus)
- Varicella (chickenpox)
- PCV 13 (pneumococcal conjugate)
- MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
- DTaP/Tdap (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis)
When: Saturday, September 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
