Recap: Friday’s Spaghetti Dinner and Auction Fundraiser for the Morgan/Owen Family was declared a success by the organizers.

Friends Tom and Bonnie (pictured above) provided music for the crowd. Native son Seth Martin staged a preview of Thursday night’s Coffee House performance by visiting Korean Drum Corps.

Back at home now, these three souls embody the term attributed to Toledo recently by a Chronicle reporter - resilient.

Sunday’s Toledo Food Share at the historic Jail House attracted a Toledo newcomer, a welder originally from Maine lured to the Left Coast by plentiful work and lack of significant snow accumulation below the foothills.

Marlea, Could you mention that the Toledo Community Library Friends group is having a meeting on Tues Oct 11th at 5 PM and that anyone interested in becoming a volunteer this would be a great time to come and meet many of our group. Three of our volunteers will not be able to help us after the New Year and we could really use some new people!
Thanks, Pat
