The American Academy of Pediatrics charges: Baby Walkers: A Dangerous Choice
Despite regulations designed to prevent the worst injuries, the AAP reports:

Infant Walker-Related Injuries in the United States (study published in Pediatrics, Oct. 2018) – Finds more than 230,000 children under 15 months old were treated in U.S. emergency departments for injuries related to baby walkers from 1990 through 2014.

In fact: Baby walkers are banned in Canada!
Under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (2004), Canadians are not allowed to manufacture, import, advertise or sell baby walkers. Canada is the first country to have such a law against them.

  • Lewis County  A Burn Ban is in effect!

  • Wahkiakum County  No Burn Ban is in effect

Burning may be restricted due to a Fire Safety Burn Ban called by the Fire Marshal, an Air Quality Burn Ban determined by SWCAA, or a HIGH or VERY HIGH DNR Fire Danger Level.
