Mike says: To all of you who have helped our family, we would like to say "Thank You."

From the day Jake and Helen were flown to Harborview Hospital in Seattle we have felt the genuine concern, the love, the prayers and the positive energy that the Toledo Community has sent their (and our) way.

And we are amazed by the variety of ways folks have helped Emily and Jake pull their lives back together.

For this we are forever grateful.

Sincerely, Di and Mike Morgan

Musical Jam Nights on second, fourth and fifth Fridays at the Hall on Jackson Highway draw performers from all corners.

Words For Thirds is one way The Grange gives back to their community.

Citizens For Better Schools* drew two dozen supporters to last night’s organizational meeting at Toledo's Main Fire Station. Committees were identified, chair people assigned tasks, and goals outlined. Those who volunteered early were awarded coffee gift certificates.
Carlie Langhaim researched a professional about publicity; time versus cost was weighed and discussed. Carlie efficiently moved through the other steps involved as well, wrapping up in 70 minutes.

As the high school hosts October’s Coffee House 7 p.m. tonight, Principal Martin Huffman offered tours of the facility 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. highlighting needed upgrades.
