Damn The torpedos Full speed ahead
On Veterans Day Nov. 11, 2017 at noon we are still going to meet at Toledo's Memorial Wall to honor Our Brothers and Sisters That have served Their Country with Honor and Pride. Never to be forgotten by their fellow Veterans, not on Our Watch, it will not ever happen
Please come if you can. We are still working a few things out.
This Year of course it will not be as big as in past Years
But it will go on nevertheless.
We hope to see you there again this Year

Veteran Wendy Carolan responded: Dale, I have been there every year from the inception of the wall, groundbreaking, dedication, and ceremonies every year since.
This year our contingency of veterans organizations added a ceremony at the wall for Memorial Day. This brings our programs to a total of 9 each year on Memorial Day alone!
Holding the ceremony following the Lewis County Veterans Day Parade was a great way to end the parade and gave a maximum number of people an opportunity to participate. I agree, moving the parade this year sucks...but you will not be there alone. Phil and I will be there too!! Our veterans will not be forgotten.
Our veterans will also be honored at Toledo High School on Thursday 9 November at 9 am. ALL Toledo schools will be participating in one program this year!! I know we will see you there as well!!

Phil Carolan, US ARMY retired
*A reliable source has indicated there will be a service at the Veterans Wall of Honor in Kemp Olson Park in Toledo at noon.
Reminder: immortalize your family Armed Services member past or present with an engraved brick to add to the Wall of Honor. Applications available at Timberland Bank and Gallery 505. Or download a copy from Toledo Lions Club here.
