Next Coffee House will be in January. Thanks for supporting Toledo’s performing arts.
Today and tomorrow the Cool and Connected folks will be in town, trying to figure out what sets Toledo apart from neighboring communities, from 300 other applicants for this grant. And I have an opportunity to sit down with them for awhile and try to explain why my chosen home is ahead of the curve, how Toledo is leading the way via broadband, and what form Toledo's future might take.
Vision:Toledo painted this scenario from the charred ruins of a Christmas Day fire in 2010, almost like the villagers of Whoville after The Grinch stole Christmas, holding hands, reassuring one another and moving forward.
Six years hence, Toledo's Vision Statement says it best, I think: Our vision is to promote and maintain the quality of living for our citizens through preservation of our past and development of our future.
