US National Weather Service Portland Oregon warns of winds 70-80 mph on Northern OR/Southern WA beaches with power outages possible, 55-65 mph near coast, Willamette & Columbia river valleys gusting 35-50 mph through Monday afternoon.
Lewis County Sheriff’s Office shared NOAA’s wind advisory including Chehalis Valley & SouthWest inland areas through Monday night. Watch for downed branches, power lines, etc.

WA State DOT is slated to meet with the City this morning to discuss safety improvements on State Route 505 through Toledo. Crosswalks at SR505 & North Second/Ramsey Way top the list of concerns. Recent count put daily travel at 5,000-10,000 vehicles. Occasional detours from I-5 due to accidents increase that number exponentially.
