Review: Toledo High School FCCLA hosted Dine In Dinner last night, raising funds to benefit Toledo Senior Center by offering classic roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy plus mouth-watering cherry-topped cheesecake. As usual, they worked around my food allergies to make sure I didn’t leave hungry.
A relaxing evening of music, food and friends, and they did the dishes!

Tech Report: Gifts To Suit Every Budget & Style
One of my favorite guilty pleasures is a stroll through the latest finds on TheGrommet.com, and the ultra-engaging Mozi is on my short list. Video here.
cultofmac is always good for deals on electronics, and Bionic Bird beats every other drone on the coolness scale. Video here.
ROKU sets the standard for streaming TV, and though December 9 you can pick up a $39 ROKU Streaming Stick directly from ROKU. ToledoTel customers qualify for a free ROKU set top unit (with a $99 installation fee - cheaper than the materials to DIY).
No gift list is complete without a Chromebook. PCMag lists their Top Ten of 2017. Credit for my new ACER 15” daily driver goes to Supt. Rust and Toledo School District Board of Directors, who inspired me to give it a test drive. Fast, lightweight, under $200, with amazing battery life - and runs some of my favorite Android apps like AirDroid.
