National Weather Service: 7 Day Outlook
Picture
Caption: Expect a brief dry period for Monday, then a series of systems will bring periods of wet weather from Tuesday through Sunday of next weekend. Highs during this period will be in the mid 40s to lower 50s.

AirNow Forecast:
Picture
...AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PST TUESDAY BELOW 1500 FEET…
* WHAT...Stagnant air may lead to poor air quality at times.
* WHERE...Interior southwest Washington and interior northwest
Oregon for areas below 1500 feet.
* WHEN...Until noon PST Tuesday. Strong inversions will develop
Sunday night and continue through at least Tuesday morning
  across the area.
* IMPACTS...Poor air quality may cause issues for people with
  respiratory problems.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
People with respiratory illness should follow their physician’s advice for dealing with high levels of air pollution during periods of stagnant air.
State air quality agencies highly recommend that no outdoor burning occur and that residential wood burning devices be limited as much as possible. According to state air quality agencies, prolonged periods of stagnant air can hold pollutants close to the ground where people live and breathe. Check with your local burn agency for any current restrictions in your area.

Donna’s Place: Second Annual Fundraiser for Foster Kids

Donna's Place is doing our 2nd year of Fundraising for Foster Kids in Crisis
Go Bags - for Foster Kids In Crisis

Please be a part of our care drive for foster children in crisis. Imagine being torn from your family and everything you know, and being placed in a strange home, new people, a strange bed, and Mom and Dad are nowhere to be found.
This is where the idea for “Go-Bags” came from!
While nothing can fix what’s taking place, maybe some comfort can be provided with a new backpack containing pajamas, a soft blanket, a new stuffed toy, and some personal items in it. Each bag can be filled with hand-picked things to make it as personal as possible, or a cash donation can be accepted and we will do the shopping for you!
Let’s get together as a community and support some local foster children! We are hoping to have all the bags back by 12/20/19. If you take a tag, please fill out the bottom portion and give to us to help keep track of who is participating.
Please call Donna's Place with any questions. 360-864-2700

Dancing Moon Yoga posted: Yoga Sessions Expanding In Toledo
Hello, friends! I have a couple of offerings to share with you all:

WOMEN’S GROUP: I am currently facilitating a weekly women’s yoga session in Toledo. Our focus is on feminine embodiment through a sensual fusion of vinyasa and kundalini. Our Friday morning group is currently full, but we are going to be adding a second weekly session! The new group will meet on Tuesday evenings starting in December. Interested? You can sign up for the Tuesday evening session or be added to the waitlist for Friday mornings by sending me a DM. Please feel free to ask me any questions regarding these sessions! I have been pouring my heart and soul into them and I am beyond excited to expand this work and continue sharing it with the amazing women in our community.

GENTLE YOGA: Every Monday and Wednesday morning I offer very gentle yoga at the Cowlitz Tribal Housing facility (aka The Mission or St. Mary’s) out on Jackson Hwy from 10am - 11am. These classes are sponsored by the Cowlitz Tribe and are FREE to the community! The class content has been designed with elders in mind, as this is an elders housing facility. But community members of all ages and backgrounds are welcome! I have had students in this particular class ranging in age from 7 to 92. Please DM me with any questions.
