Last Friday Toledo School District shared: Our thanks to the thoughtful folks from the Onalaska SD transportation department. One of their drivers saw three Toledo students walking in the dark on Tucker Rd. this morning. The three had missed their bus and were walking to school. Seeing this as an unsafe situation, the Onalaska driver stopped and picked up the students. She transported them to school and notified our team so that parents could be contacted. Thank you Onalaska for being part of keeping our kids safe.

Toledo Lions Club wrote: (Saturday) our Toledo Lions Club volunteers delivered food boxes to dozens of area families who are down on their luck.
We have been doing this before Christmas for a long time now and it reminds us how important it is to be generous to those of us who are less fortunate.
