COMMON GROUND TOLEDO NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Spring has finally arrived and plants are starting to grow, some plants may be growing a little too well. Spring is a good time to divide or get starts from these vigorous growers and donate them to a great cause.

COMMON GROUND IS IN NEED OF PLANTS!

With YOUR donated plants CGT would be able to add them to our many garden projects around Toledo or add them to our inventory to sell in our fundraising plant sales which helps to offset the organization's expenses.

PLEASE HELP US GROW!

We welcome all kinds of plants especially your treasures that you would be proud to see planted throughout our town. We will accept plant divisions, bulbs and starts as well as your treasured shrubs - as long as they can be properly transplanted and be of use to CGT's garden projects.

DROP-OFF STATION OPEN APRIL 13th TO MAY 15th.

We ask that your donations either be placed a container such as a recycled nursery pot or have the plants set in bags with roots covered in watered soil. Or have roots wrapped in thick layers of wet newspapers with roots watered sufficiently. This will help the plant transition to its next home. To help us identify the plant please include the plant name (Latin and/or common) on a waterproof plant label.

We have arranged with the City of Toledo to have a centralized drop-off station location.

THE DROP-OFF STATION IS LOCATED AT TOLEDO'S HISTORIC JAIL.

Please set your plant donations along the west wall (right side) of the jail building. We will promptly collect your donations for CGT's inventory.  For questions please call (360)864-4036.
