ToledoTel shares Rainier Connect’s link about a Netflix Scam: Please be cautious when responding to emails. We recommend going to the site rather than clicking on a link in an email you are not expecting. Usually a company will also provide information on the website or in your account of any issues. If all else fails, you can look up the phone number and call customer service.

From Lewis County Fire Protection District 2 (Toledo) - Diane asks:
Even though we have had some rain, can you please remind people that the burn ban has not changed? I have received calls from people saying that they heard recreational burning was now allowed, after following up I found this to be incorrect. This is the current information on the Lewis County Website under burn permits:
Effective 12:01 a.m. on August 7, 2017 burn restrictions are in place in Lewis County. This Modification and upgrade prohibits all outdoor burning which includes recreational fires.Burn permits are currently not valid. The burning of garbage, paper or other refuse is strictly prohibited at all times. You may obtain additional information at www.lewiscountywa.gov/communitydevelopment or by calling the 24 Hour Automated Information Line at 360-740-1133.
Normally past practice, the ban is lifted around mid October, current information can be read at the Lewis County link attached.
Thank you.

From the Toledo Community Library: Remember copiers? They made black and white documents from your own original sheet. Didn’t print or fax. Anyone have one to donate to the library? Seems the current model has finally given up. Contact the library during business hours: Wednesdays until 7 p.m., Thursdays and Saturdays until 5 p.m.
Hmm, I finally passed along an old IBM Selectric to someone a while ago, the precursor to word processors. No?
